Call for abstract extended! Portal added to the agenda

What a weekend! If the rest of the team just as me had push notifications turned on on their phones, they also noticed the “ding” each time a new abstract came in. We are very happy that so many of you took time off the weekend and submitted your abstract!

But you know us, we always want to do more. Therefore we have decided to extend our call for abstract 1 week. New, and very last, deadline is Sunday 7 July, midnight CET. We do this for 2 reasons:

We have been approached by some of our speakers asking for an extension. We know how it is! Work is overwhelming, the project took longer time etc. Yes, now is you chance!
New topic on the agenda! Times are achanging and we always want to evolve our conference to the better. Therefore we are adding sessions about “HCL Digital Experience” to our agenda. So if you, or if you know somebody who would like to do a session about that, submit your abstract now!

Connections will sooner than later be in the hands of HCL and we all look forward to that! Especially since Social Connections is a key part of HCL’s communication strategy for Connections.

Join us to listen to customers talking about their experience with Connections. Announcing the first customer sessions

We are very pleased to announce our first 2 customer sessions today. Join us in Munich to listen to thyssenkrup AG and Evonik.

Dr. Eric Marzo-Wilhelm from thyssenkrup AG will speak with Florian Schwade from the University of Koblenz and share teir unique insight on collaboration and Social Collaboration Analytics. They will share the story of how we.connect (IBM Connections) emerged as a platform for global collaboration at thyssenkrupp AG.

Rainer Gimbel from Evonik will be joined by panagenda’s Luis Suarez to learn about the impact of professional community management to the overall success of ESNs and the possibilities to measure and evaluate their health and maturity.

Social Connections 15 : the venue!

We are working to organize a great conference in Munich on 16-17 September 2019 and it’s time to announce the venue: Hotel NH Collection München Bavaria!

The Hotel is conveniently located in the city center, a few minutes walk from the old town and close to the München Hbf central train station.

This venue has more than 200 beautiful rooms, a nice meeting center and it will be totally refurbished in time for our event.

LetsConnect Vienna with Social Connections

The Social Connections team is very proud to announce they will assist IBM to host another #LetsConnect episode in the already successful series of events. The previous events have been a blast and the feedback to IBM on the future of the product has already been amazing. But we need more, we need more voices, more feedback, more direction and bright new ideas. And we need them from you!! The actual users of the platform!!!

The session will be hosted in Vienna at the IBM building and will be held on Thursday May 16. So put on your creative hat and see below for practical details.
